Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony for Kalki Dham in Sambhal, located in Western Uttar Pradesh. During his address, he expressed a profound sentiment, noting that while saints and acharyas are involved in constructing new temples, he considers it his duty to oversee the development of a nation that embodies the spirit of a divine sanctuary.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who leads the Kalki Dham Trust, invited PM Modi to the special event. Krishnam had some trouble with the Congress party and was recently kicked out for doing things they didn’t like. Even though he didn’t win the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Sambhal, Krishnam is still well-known in spiritual and social circles.

During his talk, PM Modi said he wants India to be as great as a temple. He proudly talked about India being good at coming up with new ideas, being the fifth-largest economy, and being the first to reach the south pole of the moon. He also praised the building of highways and expressways, which are important for India’s growth.

PM Modi also celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birthday, saying he helped people in India love our culture again. Modi also mentioned the recent opening of the Ram Mandir and other big temple projects like the Kashi Vishwanath corridor, the Mahakaleshwar temple, Somnath, and the Kedar Valley.

The upcoming Kalki Dham temple holds a special significance, as it is dedicated to the future Kalki avatar of Lord Vishnu, believed to be destined to be born in Sambhal.

The temple will have ten special rooms, each for one of the ten forms of Lord Vishnu. This shows a mix of old traditions and new ideas.

PM Modi also praised Acharya Pramod Krishnam for his strong dedication to spiritual work. He also praised India for staying strong against invasions and becoming a strong country in the world.
