Harish Salve Renowned lawyer and former Solicitor General of India recently celebrated his wedding with Trina in a lavish ceremony held in London, as reported in the news. This union marked his third marriage, having been previously married to Meenakshi, his first wife, and later to Caroline Brossard in 2020. Harish Salve and Meenakshi ended their marriage of over three decades in June 2020, and they share two daughters, Sakshi and Saaniya.

Harish Salve, well-known for his involvement in high-profile legal cases, offered his legal expertise for a symbolic fee of just ₹1 in the defense of Kulbhushan Jadhav. Jadhav had been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage, and Salve’s gesture garnered significant praise.
Salve’s clientele boasts prominent names, including the Tata Group, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, and the ITC Group. He also represented the government in the Krishna Godavari Basin gas dispute case against Anil Ambani’s Reliance Natural Resources Ltd.
In recognition of his legal acumen and contributions, Harish Salve was honored with the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest awards, in 2015. During the same year, he took on Salman Khan’s infamous hit-and-run case from 2002, which ultimately resulted in Khan’s acquittal of all charges, following the Bombay High Court’s ruling in December 2015.
In 2018, Harish Salve appeared in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Union government to address the Cauvery water dispute.
Having previously served as the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002, Salve’s legal expertise was further acknowledged when he was appointed as Queen’s Counsel for the courts of Wales and England in January.
Salve pursued his LLB degree at Nagpur University and achieved the designation of senior advocate at the Delhi High Court in 1992 before assuming the role of Solicitor General of India.
