Ayodhya’s Spectacular Celebration : On the consecration day in Ayodhya, the atmosphere was filled with opulence as more than 100 private jets, IAF choppers showering rose petals, and luxurious cars adorned the town. Ayodhya was transformed with the radiance of 10 lakh diyas, intricate flower arrangements, and vibrant rangolis. The 560-meter-long Janmabhoomi Path leading to the Ram temple complex was illuminated, setting the stage for a grand celebration.

Throughout the day, the town resonated with the melodious tunes of artists representing various Indian musical traditions performing on 60 different stages. The streets were lined with the creativity of the townspeople, who added their own touches to the grandeur. Flower offerings, aartis, and the distribution of sweets became common sights as the first visuals of the Ram Lalla idol appeared on TV screens. As the sun set, tens of thousands of diyas lit up the surroundings, creating a magical ambiance.

Ordinary folks of Ayodhya played a significant role in the festivities, offering food to all and contributing to community kitchens. White-collar professionals organized these efforts independently, while those with limited means pooled their resources. The town witnessed a diverse display of generosity, from a retired banker offering puri, sabji, and boondi to a group of families sharing the cost of a 5-day bhandara. Sound boxes playing Ram bhajans filled the air, and some expressed their joy through dance.

As the VIPs, including Bollywood celebrities, industrialists like Mukesh Ambani, and sports stars like Sachin Tendulkar, graced the occasion, the locals planned their own celebrations. The IAF helicopters showered the temple complex with rose petals, accompanied by performances from renowned singers like Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Anuradha Paudwal for the specially invited 8,000 guests

Once the ceremony concluded, the VIPs departed, leaving behind a town that had witnessed a remarkable transformation and a celebration that will be etched in Ayodhya’s history.
