Poonam Pandey Fake death : In a Recent Statement to Digital agency Schbang has come forward to admit their apology in the recent controversial event “fake death” stunt featuring model and actor Poonam Pandey. This unexpected news was carried out with the goal of raising awareness about cervical cancer,Critics argue that employing deceptive or manipulative techniques, such as faking a death, can erode trust and credibility in public health . Schbang issued an apology on Instagram, expressing regret for their actions, particularly towards those who have personally facing with cancer or witnessed their loved ones facing its challenges.
In their statement, they said, “Yes, we were part of the initiative with Poonam Pandey to spread awareness about Cervical Cancer in collaboration with Hauterfly. we wish to convey our sincere apologies, with a deep focus on those who have been profoundly impacted either through their personal battles with cancer or through the difficult journey of watching a loved one grapple with the disease.
In a significant health concern in India 2022 , there were reported Estd.123,907 cases of Cervical Cancer and 77,348 related deaths. Cervical Cancer ranks as the 2nd most common Cancer affecting middle-aged women in India, after Breast Cancer.
Initially, Ms. Pandey’s manager had announced her death due to cervical cancer, causing widespread shock and disbelief. However, Poonam Pandey posted a video on Instagram to clarify that the reports of her death were not-true. Later She went on to explain that the stunt was an unconventional way to start a Awareness about cervical cancer.
